I’m looking at their other flavors and they all seem to have that green thing at the bottom. Heck, I think I’ve commented on it a number of drinks I’ve wrote about on this blog. You can see it on any given drink like Sprite or 7-Up. Is that an apple? There’s also a bubble effect around the side. There’s also a bit of green at the bottom. For this bottle, it has oranges and what sorta looks like the outside of a mango. Behind it is the medley of fruits using in its given flavor. There’s this black shape in the middle on the bottle with the Body Armor logo. On top of their wording, their bottles are flashy! Look at this design. They also plaster “Super Hydration” right at the top too. I gotta commend their marketing team for this. It comes from corn which is, indeed, fairly natural. People see “Natural flavors and no artificial sources” and they go “Ah yes, this is good for me!” In fact, this could still contain high fructose corn syrup. I think they wanna appear healthier to attract the Millennial crowd. It is still sugary sweet, but their emphasis on natural stuff gives it like an inch more to the “healthy” side of the scale. So, in a sense, Body Armor is a bit more healthy for you compared to its competition. It’s been way too hot out on my days off to play for an extended time. I happen to have one since I wasn’t sure when I was going to have a day to play Pokemon Go. Just for fun, I wanna compare Body Armor’s ingredients to a Gatorade. I think they can achieve what they want without using it. They also use coconut water which makes me say “why?” If someone is allergic to coconut, doesn’t this rule their whole line out for them? There’s not a huge reason they should use coconut water. Unlike its competition, Body Armor plays on that whole “natural sweeteners” team where it is probably sweetened with stevia or something. I suppose there’s a reason for their price being slightly higher. I don’t know if they limit that 5 for 5 to just one batch of 5 since I never actually buy that many. The best deal for Body Armor I’ve see in like 5 for 5 which is about the same price in the end. My grocery store here usually has like 10 for 10 for Gatorade and Powerade. They are typically about the same price too, though when it isn’t on sale they are a bit more expensive. Well, they’ve made a splash in the sports world for sure, but does their product taste any good? Their bottles seem a lot smaller than an average Gatorade or Powerade bottle. Yeah, they have a pretty recognizable pool if you care to look. Other athletes they have endorsing this include local legend Mike Trout, and Jazz rival James Harden. Donovan’s been a huge impact on the Utah Jazz and I’m happy to see him getting some endorsements. One of those athletes is none other than my man Donovan Mitchell. Body Armor is sold in the same section as those two drinks and has a few pro athletes endorsing their products. What is Body Armor? It’s this semi-new line of drinks that is supposed to be competing with the likes of Gatorade and Powerade. This is Body Armor’s Orange Mango flavor.
